Future Plans

1 .Build upon the Membership of the Association by enrolling members as per Membership

2 .criteriaTo enable a web presence of the Association through means of an official web page komwa.in

3 . To build a directory of Koknis with special emphasis on Koknis in various professional fields

4.To compile a complete data base of present and past Koknis so as to allow a wider view of various important Kokni personalities of the past and in the present and to collect profiles and photographs along with write ups of such persons

5.To set up an editorial board for the web-site to act as a controlling body for collecting and reporting on events, activities and news related to KoMWA or other members of our community on regular basis

6.To organize interactive programmes such as seminars, workshops, lectures etc. on educational, professional and vocational field, arrange social functions and other activities

7.Provide for scholarships to enable needy Kokni students to achieve basic education and to make them self-sufficient in life

8.Lay down guidelines to provide financial assistance to needy kokni families

9.Design scheme for providing financial assistance for deserving students who aspire to pursue higher education

10.Design schemes to provide for financial assistance with a view to encouraging entrepreneurship amongst koknis

11.Provide financial assistance to widows of the community

12.To organise functions to felicitate extraordinary achievers from our community in academic, professional or social field

13 .To provide avenue to female Kokni members of the Association by setting up a separate Women’s Wing so as to enable our women to have their  own  separate activities, in addition to activities of the Association

14.To set-up a clothe bank to collect used/spare clothes that can be given to needy members of the community
